This one really surprised me. Gameplay wise this was just my jam. Its build and mod system was really fun. While the story was pretty forgettable the power fantasy this game delivered and its freedom to build craft really made it worth the price of entry. If you want a looter shooter you didn’t have to dedicate your life to check this one out.
I just don’t think Borderlands is for me. On paper I really should but I just don’t enjoy the world or its characters. I especially don’t enjoy its menus or levelling up at all. B4 marks my last attempt at trying the franchise. Never again will subject myself to Claptrap
A baffling disappointment that I still think about a a few years on. Feels like a studio exec just kept seeing what was trending and getting the devs to change the original vision. I think the most unforgivable thing about this game for me was how god awful the boss fights are. Huge fall from grace for Rocksteady
A truly special game. It’s could be said that if you put everything in a game I love it would be Rollerdrome. Bullet time plus Tony Hawk … YES PLEASE. Such a shame this studio was shuttered. The streets will remember this one (or just me)
Outstanding game. From its visual design to its excellent gunplay and pvp fights. It keeps bringing me back for more. Ignore the online noise and give it a go
One of the best multiplayer player PVE’s in recent memory. I think Helldivers 3 will be something truly special. The monetisation is the one big downside for me. Keeping game changing weapons behind a paywall ain’t it for me.
