Terms of use
Last updated 10 October 2026
Draft, pending legal review. OuttaSeven is in testing and this page may change.
These are the rules for using OuttaSeven. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. We have tried to keep them short and plain.
About these terms
OuttaSeven is run by an individual based in the United Kingdom, as a personal project ("we", "us"). How we handle personal data is in our privacy policy.
Who can use OuttaSeven
- You must be 13 or over.
- One person, one account. Keep your login to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has it.
- Give accurate details and a username that is not offensive or pretends to be someone else or our team.
Linking your game accounts
- Only link PlayStation and Steam accounts that are yours.
- You allow us to read your play data from those accounts, as described in the privacy policy, so we can check that you played what you review.
- Each PlayStation or Steam account can be linked to only one OuttaSeven account. Do not try to fake play, use tools that unlock trophies or achievements artificially, or hand over your account to someone else to review.
Reviews
- You can review a game only if our checks show you played enough of it. We keep the exact checks private so they cannot be gamed, and we may change them. Meeting them does not guarantee a review, for example if we cannot read your data.
- Write your own honest opinion. One review per game for each platform (PlayStation and Steam).
- Do not post anything hateful, threatening, harassing, sexual involving minors, illegal, or that shares other people's private information. No spam, advertising, or paid or traded reviews. Mark spoilers.
- Do not try to manipulate scores, for example by coordinating reviews to push a game up or down.
Your content. You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to store, show and use it to run and improve OuttaSeven, including in combined statistics that do not identify you. You can delete a review or your whole account at any time.
Scores and opinions
Scores are the opinions of OuttaSeven members, not facts and not our own views. They are shown once a game has enough reviews. We are not responsible for what members write, but we will look at reports.
Moderation, suspension and bans
- You can report a review you think breaks these rules. We decide what happens.
- We may hide or delete content, suspend your account for a set time or until we lift it, or ban it permanently, if you break these terms, try to cheat the verification, or harm other people or the site.
- While suspended or banned you can still log in, read the site, change your settings and delete your account, but you cannot post or edit reviews, vote, follow or report. Your reviews are hidden and do not count towards scores until any suspension or ban is lifted.
- If you are banned, your linked PlayStation and Steam accounts cannot be used to sign up again.
- We keep our reasons private, to protect the people involved and the way we spot abuse. If you think we got it wrong, email support@outtaseven.com and we will take another look.
Other companies
OuttaSeven is independent. It is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Valve, Twitch or any game publisher. PlayStation, Steam and all game names, covers and trademarks belong to their owners. We depend on their services to read your play data, so linking can stop working if they change or block access, and we are not responsible for that.
The service as it is
OuttaSeven is in early testing. We try to keep it running and accurate, but we provide it "as is". Features can change or be removed, and the site may be unavailable at times. We will try to give notice before removing accounts that have done nothing wrong.
Our responsibility
Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, because OuttaSeven is free, we are not liable for indirect or lost profits or data, and our total liability to you for anything else is limited to what the law allows. You are responsible for what you post.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. We may close accounts that break these terms or if we stop running the service. What we delete, and what we keep, is in the privacy policy.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you on the site, and using OuttaSeven after that means you accept it. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts there can deal with disputes, although if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also use your local courts.
